Lil Wayne made what appeared like a major declaration Saturday night – that he was collaborating up with Jay Z – yet it has nothing to do with Roc Nation, TMZ found out later.
Wayne’s management Cortez Bryant told TMZ, individuals guessed the details wrong after Wayne made that big appearance at KMEL’s Summer Jam in Oakland and said he was banding together with Jay. Bryant says Wayne was alluding to the organization with TIDAL as a contributing musician and proprietor. So there’s no Roc Nation bargain.
Still …the coordinated effort is a major step considering the animosity in the middle of Birdman and Wayne. Wayne’s next collection will be discharged on TIDAL.
